The triangle's vertices are generally considered to be Bermuda, Miami (Florida), and Puerto Rico. Since the early 20th century, numerous ships and aircraft have reportedly disappeared under mysterious circumstances in this area.\n\n## Notable Incidents\n\n### Flight 19 (1945)\nOn December 5, 1945, five U.S. Navy TBM Avenger torpedo bombers vanished during a training flight. A PBM Mariner flying boat sent to search for them also disappeared, resulting in the loss of six aircraft and 27 crew members.\n\n### USS Cyclops (1918)\nIn March 1918, the U.S. Navy collier USS Cyclops vanished with 306 crew members aboard.
